As we all know there is a huge problem in the gulf, oil. My heart feels like it is going to break when I think of all those animals and marine life being affected by this, not to mention ‘us’.Sometimes I feel so small compared to the rest of the world and face it I am. But I still hold onto hope.
Hope that if enough people support one cause we as a whole can make a difference. History as proven it.
As writers isn’t that what it’s all about. Not just the story that we write but the people we write for. Once we get that awesome book deal the journey doesnt end there. It goes on to many more people who read it, believe in it. Once that book is on shelves it waits for just one to read it and when they finally do...Hearts open up, adventure starts and little pieces of them are left behind in each page. Stories and books are passed down through generations and loved by many. So a journey that one writer took did not end with the end of that novel but lives on in the hearts of all who read it. Hope, that if enough people support one cause we can make a difference.
