I lost my computer and my phone in the past couple of months, along with my address book, so I am really having a struggle with communicating. I think I am all caught up, so please look at your records for me and see if you have the right way to reach me.
I have bailed on AOL and am now using gmail. If you sent me email via AOL in the past three months, it is likely I did not get it.

So, here's what's going on...
I'm taking three 8th grade girls to see My Chemical Romance tonight. Am i nuts?
Got a callback for Jigger in Carousel with a very nice note from the director saying that I am too old for Billy. That hurt. But, really, *I* wouldn't cast me as Billy for the same reason, even though I can sing the hell out of the part. My singing voice has settled quite delightfully into that lyric baritone range where Howard Keel, John Raitt, and Brian Stokes Mitchell happily reside in my head. Too old to play Curly, Lancelot, and Billy Bigelow, I am moving firmly into my middle years, a time to enjoy the chance to play Fred Graham in KISS ME KATE and Charlie Anderson in SHENANDOAH before forever being consigned to Old Deuteronomy in CATS and Cap'n Andy in SHOWBOAT.
I don't much like Jigger--I'll have to be convinced it is for me. But the director is legendary in Bay Area circles and I am itching to get back onstage after a wonderful experience in San Diego with A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at the Cygnet Theatre. If I am cast, this may be a great way to join a community, something I feel the need for as my son gets ready to go off to college.
Anthony has been accepted to The U. of Maryland, and we await notification from the other schools, due by the end of the month.
Going east for two weeks next week, March 23.
