This semester is almost over (Thank the Lord!), but Christmas fast approaches and soon after I will be back in school. I finished the children's book and I am meeting with Dick Wilkinson (the author) on Wednesday to approve the layout for publishing.
It would have been the perfect gift for everyone in the family, but it won't be ready until after Christmas. Trying to make a little extra cash to buy my nieces and nephews gifts, so I am drawing for Kidzart again. I have done some really cool holiday themed pieces. I can't wait to have the time to work on the rockababy Brand website. I am going to completely revamp the look. We have special offers, more product, quizzes and coloring pages to offer. We will also be available on etsy and cafe press before the next semester starts. Katie is going to start preschool. It will be so good for her and such a time-saver for us. Sean can sleep in a normal schedule and I can study. This way, when Katie comes home, we will be spending quality time with her. The house will be clean, the laundry done, the studying done, and it will be time for family meals and activities. I am a little sad. She has never had daycare. Sean and I rotate watching her (so he can sleep and work all night) and she stays with both grandma's a few hours a couple of times a week. It will be an adjustment for me; for Katie it will be: "See Ya Mom!" She will finally have friends other than Caillou and Kipper! In the meantime I have been attending a bazillion doctor's appointments and watching my blood sugar while monitoring 4 insulin injections a day. It is a little hard to do with my crazy class schedule. I finished my online grammar course and will finish my Earth Science lab early. I NEED to study for the finals in Math and Earth Science. When will the preschool call? I need the time! I would love to make some cool ornaments with rockababy on them to commemorate our 1st year, maybe we can offer them on the site! Hopefully I will have more to offer soon...
