Here are bits and pieces of the mystery stories I have written for children.
1. Will Sylvester the cat fit into that?

Sylvester the cat's a fat but curious cat. He uses his whiskers to test his fit into everyplace he finds interesting. He successfully fits into the stranger's grocery sack and the neighbor's old doggie door. Then his owner notice's how long his whisker's are and he cuts them short! When Sly tests an open dryer vent with his new short whiskers, he decides to head on in. Mistake! He is now stuck half inside the house and half out! Sylvester the cat DIDN'T fit into THAT! There's a measuring stick to accompany this story so places can be measured for Sly until his whiskers grow out again to the right length.
