Writing, Social Work, Raising Teenagers, National affairs... I've got an opinion on everything and I'm not afraid to rant & rave about it. I also have a quirky sense of humor and I step outside of my box quite often :) Especially when I'm writing.
1. RAVE- Headlights, Horsecrap & Big Ideas

Just a short break from my writing for some inspirational quotes:

"Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way."
~E.L. Doctorow

"The task of a writer consists of being able to make something out of an idea."
~Thomas Mann

"If a book is not alive in the writer's mind, it is as dead as year-old horse-shit."
~Stephen King

And one final quote as I sit here and wonder if I have enough time to finish 5 chapters(skeleton chapters mind you) this weekend...

"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."
~H. Jackson Brown
