Alicia, the story is lovely, full of emotions with such a sweet warm scene at the end.
I like the limited colours very much. I love the various angles at which you show the fox. The wintry forest is both beautiful and just a bit sad, enough to make you feel that the fox is lost. I love how the snow changes shape and the trees sway when the fox runs following the flying owl - I'm sure they are both very fast :)
And I love the little fox's smile at the end and the sweet hug :)
(and just to sum up, the word verification I have to type is "norival" :D)
Aww Thank you Tusen!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I really appreciate you took the time to see it! And I'm glad you liked the last scene. My daughter loved that one too! :o)
Even after i waited for the page to load, I waited 12 minutes and still could not make it past the first illustration. Bummer...I really want to watch it. Not sure why I can't.
I couldn't even get TO the first illustration....? :-(
I am SO sorry girls... :o(
I don't know what is happening And is very frustrating to, I've been working a lot on that video. sigh...... :o(
I might have to remove it from the website and see what is going on.
Thanks for your time and patience Kate and Kim.
What a nice treat to come home from vacation and see your amazing video of the lost fox!! Wow, so beautiful and full of emotion...okay, I admit it, I cried at the end. Geez. A beautiful piece of work Alicia...you are an amazing artist, but the fact that you made a video of this is even more impressive....you had help right???? Don't tell me you're a tech wizard too! :o)
BTW, it took close to 10 minutes to download, but so worth it. I'm sure you'll be able to figure that out on the next video.
I love the limited color, the fact that the characters are so consistent all the way through the story, the softness of the environment that envelopes the reader. And the lack of words....really no need for them...Well done, girl!!
Deb!!! So glad you are back, how did your vacation go?
Aw.... I'm so touched by your comment my friend. Really thank you so much!! You made me totally happy :o)
I'm no "techy" LOL! No.. I used "imovie". It's really simple to use. Macs are wonderful in the sense that everything is so instinctive. I still need to figure out how to make it faster. I tried making it the smaller I could in terms of weight but still. I think it could be my host also. I don't know. I have to figure something out with that.
Thanks again Deb, you made my day!! :o)
