I write this with a heavy heart. As of today I am no longer a writer/producer on HEROES. I could not be prouder of all the work I did on the show and wish all my Heroic Scribbler pals the very best. I will certainly continue to blog at GLOBAL COUCH.

NOOO!!!
Well I've gotta say that hearing about your and Jeph's departure from the show has me even more worried for the future of the series. It's obvious that Kring has no idea how to build a cogent storyline with decent characterization, and I had hoped that the two of you would be able to steer him in the right direction. So much for that, I guess?
Regardless, I'll keep up with what you're doing.
Jesse, I'm so sorry to hear about the recent developments at Heroes. You have done amazing work on the show, and each of the episodes you have written have gotten better and better. Eris Quod Sum was an amazing episode! Good luck to you in the future.
Stunning news.
So sorry for you, Jesse, and I certainly wish you the very best in whatever life brings next.
Uh, wow. I'm rather shocked and upset at this news. :/
Obviously I wish you (as well as Jeph) all the best in future endeavors. I loved your episodes, and always felt reassured about the show knowing that (at least) two writers as dedicated and passionate as you guys were on staff.
I hate to say it now, but if this is a sign of things to come, I kind of worry. Ack! Say it ain't so!
I'm kind of at a loss, really... If you did not leave by choice, I can't fathom what could motivate or justify the decision, which I find quite disheartening. (Not asking for details here, btw. I respect the discretion and privacy of all parties involved.)
This could well be a PR disaster for the show, which I don't think it really needs at the moment. Not that the questions arisen by this new development would be entirely unfounded, but... *flails*
I'll stop rambling here. Jesse, this Heroes fan will miss your influence greatly. Please make sure Mr. Loeb is also made aware of this sentiment. It won't be the same without you guys!
Jesse you and Jeph Loeb wrote my and most fans favorite episodes.
I'm sure its a panic move but a bunch of suits who no nothing.
I'm really upset and most of us are.
Jeph has always been so sweet to me personally and to most fans. You both deserve better.
I fear for my "Heroes".
But you guys are so talented, I don't fear for you.

Well, at least this gives you more time to plot Transmedia World Domination!
Jesse,
I'm still in shock to hear about this. This is just one of those things I never expected to hear about. It's a tragic loss for the show. Your work on the show has been absolutely amazing from the get-go. I hope you'll continue to keep in touch and I wish you the best with your future plans. Long live the Global Couch!
You and Jeph Loeb are gone? I'm so very, very sorry. :( This is terrible news and I'm afraid that I am without words on this. You two are instrumental on the show, as are all of the writers. I can't believe this happened. :(
Jesse, as a loyal Heroes fan, I'm truly shocked and disappointed by this. Then again, I haven't understood any of the criticism of the show this season, so all of the recent controversy has left me at a loss. NBC has pulled a couple of bizarre moves recently (Knight Rider and K&K's pick-ups amongst them), but this is certainly the worst. And, unfortunately for those of us who love the show, I think it's one they'll come to regret.
I know you must be pretty devastated and understandably angry. But you know this isn't your fault, right? It was always obvious that you and Jeph were passionate about the show, and your influence will be sorely missed. I'm sure the cast and crew feel the same.
I have no doubt you'll have no trouble filling up your schedule, though, and I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavours.

...Yours was THE EPISODE that made me decide to continue watching Heroes. I was ready to call it a dead loss, gave it one last chance the week Eris Quod Sum aired and I thought 'wow! Is Heroes back?!' the story was great and the characters were (FINALLY) In Character. I hope Heroes can survive without you ::isn't sure::
Thanks for all the great comments! HEROES has been a blast. The rest of the season is super cool. We've written 18 amazing scripts. And the stories for the last 7 are intense.
Oh no. :(
Oh, so sorry to hear that. I really loved your episode last week. Hope the next thing is brilliant for you.
I'm very sorry to hear that. I've been thoroughly enjoying this season and really blame the low ratings of what happened last season. Everyone I know who has ACTUALLY watched it this season has loved it.
We at End Of Show and 'The List' Heroes UK podcast just wanted to say how sorry we were that you will no longer be working on Heroes. It wouldn't have been the success it was without you, and viewers in the UK love season three and the creative direction in which the show was taken. Your legacy on the show will be one of exciting and much loved television which captured the imagination of its viewers and made Heroes must-see TV.

I can't believe it! That's the worst thing that could happen to Heroes! :(
This crushes me, but I have no doubt that you will end up with something even more awesome in the near future. I respect the fact that you are not slinging mud, when you probably have every right to. Good luck to you (and Jeph) - and please let us know what your next project is!

Thanks for all your awesome work on the show. Heroes is still one of my favorites. I'm really sad that you're not going to be on it. Best of luck with your next project.
Best of luck, Jesse. I'm sure we'll be seeing you around. Continuing to watch Heroes will be bittersweet.
Es una pena...
Soy de España y pese a todo seguiremos tu carrera. ¿Cuál será tu próximo proyecto? ¿Tal vez vuelvas con J.J.Abrams a Fringe?

I was looking forward to your presentation at AFIFest on Friday. But I'm guessing that not in the cards now, is it?
Thanks for all that you've done to give us HEROES! That's a bummer about the news. Wish ya the best in all of your future endeavors!
I will be speaking at AFI DigiFest on Friday morning. It looks like it should be a great day of presentations.
I am so so so sorry to hear you are no longer with Heroes. I'm not sure how the show is going to survive with the heart of it ripped out so suddenly.
I think it is obvious from the comments being made that the fan base as a collective is incredibly saddened to see you go. Heroes has truly lost someone great who cared for and UNDERSTOOD the show and its fans.

Whoa, that was seriously harsh of them. But luck in all your future endeavours. I always know I'm in for a good time, when I see your name in the credits.
You can do better than Heroes.
This is really bad news for Heroes. But you will do great very soon.
I'm going to visit your blog more often, it's really good.
Jesse - It's a harsh world out there, and you know that going into the business, it still has to sting in all the wrong spots.
I've enjoyed Heroes from the beginning, but in fact have watched most of it on DVD, so I'm still back in season 2 and enjoying it quite a bit. To be honest, it may play better in this format than when being watched once a week. I'm now looking forward to this season (which I'm capturing on DVR) and seeing the magic continue.
I'm sorry that your direct contributions will end, although I'm sure (hope!) your influence and inspiration will continue to linger.
