It's a timely story of an unlikely friendship between a Great Horned Owl and a pirate-wannabe mouse that brings hope to a divided community.

Sonja Anderson lives in Seattle, Washington, with her husband and two daughters, one of whom inspired this series with an argument on her elementary school playground! It took nearly fifteen years from argument to book in hand--proof that you should never, ever give up.
