Finding time for Art when you have a 9 to 5, bills, rent, young kid's, a wife, and that occasional freelance assignment that you wish would come around more often. $,$,$, time, time, time. Wish I had more of both, but I do manage to make time for art. Even if it's just to doodle in my sketch book daily. Inspiration will eventually strike and somehow, when it does, I find the time I need to do what it is I'm inspired to do. I don't know how I find that time but I do.

Looking ahead to InkTober I began sketching mostly in inks during my lunch hour breaks at work.

I look forward to InkTober like I used to look forward to Christmas as a kid. Before September is up I will have gathered my supplies and planned out what I will be sketching for the month.






Already I am thinking of choosing a different topic for each week. Portraits one week, landscapes the next. Nothing set in stone yet but by the end of this month I will have planned out what I will be doing for October. In the mean time I just kind of enjoy these warm up sketches. These have been fun to do, I hope the whole month of October goes that way.
