Looking Back to January, February and March of 2015
by Susan Stephenson, www.thebookchook.com
This month is School Library Month in the USA, so what better month to dig around in The Book Chook archives for articles that might prove useful to librarians, parents and teachers who do their very best to help children love learning and literature? This is a regular feature on The Book Chook, where I look at popular posts from previous months and years. Today my focus will be on posts from January, February and March of 2015. I hope you find something useful here, and if you do, thanks for sharing it with others.

** Here’s my list of sites where you can find free clipart that’s useful for educational purposes.
** The children I read to have taught me so much! Here’s a slightly tongue-in-cheek look at what I’ve learned about reading aloud to little ones.
** Some tips from a Kindergarten teacher and parent (me!) on getting kids ready for big school.
** Did you know this year’s Children’s Book Week theme is - Australia: Story Country? Grab some ideas from Let’s Celebrate World Storytelling Day, or celebrate storytelling every month!
** Are you one of the 4922 people who saw (and loved!) my List of Book-related Special Days for Kids? You won't need to look at it again then.
