Gimme-Jimmy – 5 stars – Cheryl Larson
Gimme-Jimmy is a cute play on the story of Pinocchio. Instead of a nose that grows longer with each lie, Jimmy has a hand that grows larger each time he says “gimme” rather than politely sharing with friends. Through Jimmy’s struggles parents and kids can have conversations about the importance of being polite in a fun way. With special appearances from other characters in Sherrill’s books, kids can enjoy learning important skills. I really enjoyed sharing this story with my little one and helping her learn how to be polite.
