The idea of writing children’s books was born coincidentally at the same time I began reading to my own children.
When I began writing Around the World, my ideas of how to approach the book were scattered. So I decided to take a day to put the entire story regardless of flow and context on paper and began the process of piecing it together. The story eventually came together like glue even though I had to re-write it more than 20 times!
My friends and family have helped immensely with the process of writing. When I completed the first draft of the book, I read it to my kids and my friend’s kids to get their opinion. Kids will always give you their honest opinion! Their feedback inspired more content and I felt it was time to being the publishing process.
