With a young son myself I felt my heart wrench for Sadie first when her son somehow stopped talking when he was 5 years old and more so when he was stolen right before his 6th birthday. From the safety of his own home, the horrific “Fog” captured him and his mom watched it all go down, just not without a fight.

Cheryl some how tells the gut wrenching story of fate, devastation, loss and closure with Sadie’s and Sam’s tale that has me shaking and wondering even after the book is closed.
