1. Mother's Day Poem for Kids

 “MY MOTHER KEPT A GARDEN”

Mother you kept a garden, A garden of the heart, You planted all the good things That gave my life it's start.
You turned me to the sunshine Encouraged me to dream, Fostering and nurturing The seeds of self-esteem...
And when the winds and rain came, You protected me enough-- But not so much I wouldn’t learn To stand up strong and tough.
Your constant good example Will teach me right from wrong-- Markers for my pathway That will last a lifetime long.
I am my Mother's garden. I am your legacy- I hope you always feel the love Reflected back from me!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! 2013
