Last year we attended the 22nd Annual Children’s Illustration Exhibit party at the R. Michelson Galleries in Northampton, Massachusetts. We had been to the 19th annual event three years earlier as part of our Rock Stars of Reading road trip.
Mark shot some video at the event and had planned to edit and release it shortly after our return. Unfortunately, that coincided with news that his uncle had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A lot of personal projects were shelved.
The 23rd Annual Children’s Illustration Exhibit reception is taking place today. Unfortunately, we are unable to be there this time. We’re disappointed we won’t be able to spend time with our author and illustrator friends. Besides being incredibly creative and talented, they’re amazingly nice people, too.
