It's a dog-day-afternoon at a King City Starbucks.  
The City of King is situated on Highway 101 in South Monterey County in the heart of the California's Salinas Valley.
Agriculture is king in this city and surrounding areas. But this pooch is king of the patio. Most of the other stores are empty in this round-type strip mall, "For Lease" signs everywhere you look. :-(
What would John Steinbeck say if he could see this today?
I'm hoping he'd write another book.
