cimshiny is where Claudia's 'better' reviews appear. Plus other random things :)
1. Beautiful Disaster- Jamie McGuire (review, 5 Stars)

"The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate percentage of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance between her and the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend America, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the charming college co-ed. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his charms, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’ apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match"

Ok so first of all, this description is only a teeny weeny portion of what happens in this book. Its sort of the starting point for everything, I thought it was going to be this light funny romance. It wasnt.

This was an EPIC love story, and i hate the word 'epic' but wow, there is just no other way to describe it.
Travis the ultimate bad boy, and man does he do some BAD stuff. It broke my heart a little at times, and had me thinking "gosh he is so messed up"
Its almost sick in the way he needs Abby, it was so intense it was almost possessive and crazy, in fact i think it was. But it was meant to be that way, it was one hell of a ride, for the reader and all of the characters alike.
The story felt like it went for ages! But in a good way! They went through so much, one thing after another...
But yeah that was some relationship, some story, i feel so lucky to have read it.
This is one of the best relationship stories ive read. it was so raw and real, i couldnt get it out of my head when i WASNT reading it!
Seriously, more people need to get their hands on this, the ending was perfect, it couldnt have made me happier.

5 STARS!!!!

('Love the way you lie' by Eminem and Rhianna was in my head the whole time)
