Thank you Cheryl Velasquez for awarding me the Liebster Blog Award. The Liebster Award is an award designed to bring traffic to bloggers with fewer than 200 followers That would be me! I am suppose to share 5 things about myself. And it appears that I am also to pick 5 blogs to recieve the award from me. It feels a little like a chain letter, but it was originally intended to be a way to network and share with others the blogs that you love.
First 5 things about me:
1. When I was a child we had a small indoor bathroom and an outhouse. And I have moved the outhouse, as it has to be done every so many years.
2. I love poetry of all sorts, but my favorite poem is THE LADY OF SHALOTT by Lord Alfred Tennyson.
3. My favorite book, is most picture books, but these days I guess is REACHING FOR SUN by Tracie Vaughn Zimmer, which, surprisingly, is not a picture book!
4. My favorite author, is most picture book authors, but in the past few weeks has become Brian Selznick.
5. I love SCBWI workshops and conventions!

I like this award as I feel five is a good number to pass it on to... when it starts to get up to 15, I think people hardly ever follow the links!
