This is a preliminary picture I did for the pirate book. We ended up doing something very different. I like the rocks and tree quite a bit. It really captures the feel of the shore here.

I've been looking at this close up, there is some beautiful colouring in your washes, little tints of colour which almost go unnoticed...
Thanks Gretel! One of the things I learned in school is that every square inch ought to be interesting and I really took that to heart.(Ack! my cat is trying to get my attention by sitting on the key pad. I should never have given her wet cat food.)I was thinking the same thing about your stuff. The rabbit on the swing against the starred back ground really had that quality of everything being considered. All your work is like that but I really noticed it with that one.
