Today's posts focus on homewares so for today's Friday eye candy I thought I would pick out a few highlights from the Anthropologie UK website. Recent arrivals include these 'Folklore' designs (above & below) on cushions and tea towels, and Saga tableware. On wall art there are prints by Molly Hatch and also standing out in rugs was a colourful tropical bird. Finally the typography on Marc

Sanderson's latest collection is a riot of colour and bold print. Called ' Papavera' the collection is refreshing for it's simplicity of form, with geometrics such as Milla which was made from cutting paper. There are also lots of florals including poppies the flower which has the Latin name Papavera after which the collection is named. The designers have played with scale and texture across both

I love it when I see designers we have previously featured prospering in the marketplace. We last saw Rosie Moss on P&P back in July 2014 when she was at New Designers one year on. Now Rosie has been asked to create a limited edition collection of cushions for Heal's inspired by mid-century textiles and British vernacular art. Rosie was approached at New Designer's and the Heal's soft

Last week I popped into the Heal's Autumn Winter press show. Whilst I didn't see too much print and pattern on display it was a great excuse to see what is currently on sale in the store. I really admired the cushions by Living Union featuring the mid century designs of Robert Stewart (above & below). These classic 1950's prints feature the shapes and colours that are characteristic of the era

Today I wanted to post a colourful summery print as we experience a heatwave hear in the UK. Prints don't come much bolder and more colourful than those at Marimekko where you will currently find Sitruunapuu, which i believe translates from Finnish as Citrus. This watercolour pattern was designed by Aino-Maiha Metsola and features on fabrics, ceramics, bedding, kitchen textiles, paper napkins
