This week's cutie pie is model/actor, Keston Karter. Karter was born in Trinidad, but came to the New York when he was 4 years old. He's been in a couple of films (The Inside Man is one of them), but he's seen mostly on stage.

27. Man-ificent Monday: Cutie Pie Daddies

In honor of Father's Day, I'm posting pics of cutie pie fathers. I chose not to post pics of the usual hot dads (Will Smith, Brad Pitt, David Beckham, etc). Instead, I wanted to post pics of underrated cuties: Boris Kodjoe, Bruce Willis, Robin Thicke, and Blair Underwood.

Word(s) to Describe: Hot!

And the cutest daddy of all: Walter Weakly (seen in this pic w/me & my mom)

28. Man-ificent Monday: Mario Lopez

OMG, I loved Saved By The Bell, mostly cos I got to look at this eye candy every week. Who am I talking about? MARIO LOPEZ!!!! I heart Slater. Mario heated up the stage in season 3 of Dancing With the Stars, where he was runner-up to Emmitt Smith. Now, you can see him as a host on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew and as a celebrity guest host on Extra. The thing I notice most about Mario, besides his gorgeous body, is his DIMPLES! I love his dimples.

29. Man-ificent Monday: Columbus Short

This week's cutie pie is 27 year old actor and choreographer, Columbus Short. A fact I didn't know: he choreographed one of Britney Spear's tours (the Onyx Hotel Tour, for Britney fans). Columbus Short is known for his role as DJ in Stomp the Yard. He's also had roles in This Christmas, Cadillac Records, and Death at a Funeral. Columbus will reprise his role as DJ in Stomp the Yard 2. What do I first notice about Mr. Short? His beautiful smile and kissable lips. I'm a sucker for guys with gorgeous smiles and full lips!

30. Man-ificent Monday: Pit Bull

This week's cutie pie is none other than Armando Christian Pérez, aka Pit Bull, a Cuban American rapper from Miami. Pit Bull's hits include "Culo", "Hit the Floor" with Twista, "Ay Chico", "The Anthem" with Lil Jon, and more recently, "Krazy", "Hotel Room Service", and "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)". You can also hear him in Cypress Hill's new single, "Armada Latina," which I love btw. Now, there's is something I'm not "krazy" about Pit Bull...he has a VERY hairy chest. But, that doesn't take away from his cuteness (as long as he keeps it covered, I'm straight). The things I like about Pit Bull? His gorgeous eyes (I must be an eye chick), his lips, and I LOVE his voice!

31. Man-ificent Monday: Cristiano Ronaldo

This week's cutie pie is Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese soccer player on the Real Madrid team. The 25 year-old is also rumored to be Kim Kardashian's newest love interest (guess she has a thing for athletes). Ronaldo is just one in a line of gorgeous soccer players from around the world, including David Beckham, Oguchi Onyewu, Fabio Cannavaro, and David Odonkor. I have to say, tho, Cristiano Ronaldo is the hottest of them all!

When I saw him in Why Did I Get Married, my first thought was wow! When Jill Scott's character ended up with him...OMG! I thought, lucky girl! One of the first things you notice about Lamman is his dimples. Then you see his smile, his lips, his body, his personality...the list goes on.

He's the son of the Wayans brothers' sister, Nadia. Damon Wayans Jr is a SPITTING IMAGE of his cutie pie father, Damon Wayans! I mean, he looks JUST like him...and a little like his uncle, Marlon. You can see the younger Damon in the movie, Dance Flick.

38. Man-ificent Monday: Taimak

I had the HUGEST crush on Taimak!! The Last Dragon happens to be one of my fave movies...in spite of the fact that I look at it now and realize how cheesy it was. I love that movie. Taimak was gorgeous in The Last Dragon and he's just as gorgeous now, at almost 46...still in shape, too. Look at that smile...those dimples! Be still my beating heart!!!

42. Man-ificent Monday: Adam Rodriguez

If you've read my blog before, you'd know that I think this week's cutie pie is absolutely gawgeous, dahling! Adam Rodriguez is the reason why I started watching CSI Miami. Of course, now, even without him on it, I'm hooked on the show, but, years ago, it was all about seeing that dimpled smile and beautiful, brown eyes every week. Fans of CSI Miami (Ahem, me. *raises hand*) knew all about Adam before he was even cast in Tyler Perry's, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Now that he's done Bad, his fan base has gotten even bigger. I LOVED his character, Sandino, in the movie. Taraji P. Henson was one lucky chica! If you've seen the video for Melanie Fiona's song, It Kills Me (LOVE this song, by the way), you'd notice that he's her love interest. Now that he's leaving CSI Miami, you can only see him every once in a while, but he is on Ugly Betty as Bobby. He has a few movies in the making, including a movie with 50 Cent, called Caught in the Crossfire. I'm not a fan of 50, but I'll go see the movie because AR's in it. I don't mean to sound like a 15 year-old girl, but I SO have a crush on Adam Rodriguez!

Word(s) to describe: Que rico!

43. Man-ificent Monday: Reggie Bush

In honor of the upcoming Superbowl, I decided to celebrate by posting pics of an NFL player for Manificent Monday. My original choice for the Superbowl was Jets vs Vikings, but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. Come Sunday, February 7, 2010, the Indianapolis Colts will play the New Orleans Saints. Since the Saints were my 2nd choice for Superbowl champs (Vikings being #1...unless, of course the Texans had made it), I'll be cheering for the Saints on Superbowl Sunday. So, I guess you can figure the team today's cutie pie is from. This man is too delicious for words. If you get a chance, purchase February's issue of Essence, which features him (and other cutie pies, btw). Who am I talking about? Why, Reggie Bush, of course!

46. Random Thoughts Thursday

Brrr!!! It's cold here in Houston! It's like 36 degrees here, but with the wind, it feels like less. My goodness, the whole freakin country is experiencing this cold weather. Crazy

I saw this on twitter:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/6946257/Mans-penis-removed-from-pipe.html (not sure how to hide the link where it says click here or something).

I only have one thing to say about this: How in the h*ll did he get his private part stuck in the pipe!!! What was he doing (I can only imagine)? SMH

Yay Glee for winning People's Choice Award for fave new TV comedy! I LOVE that show, despite the fact that it comes on at the same time as Criminal Minds and Law & Order SVU. It's easily one of my faves now.

If I weren't so darn shy in high school, I so would have joined something like the glee club. I was in the choir in both junior high and high school, just not confident enough to join the show choir...and I wouldn't have cared if popular people talked about me. Being popular never made a difference to me. You had your jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, etc, then you had Raenice. I knew people in all groups, but was never a part of one group...and I was happy with that.

And what about that Ugly Betty? I don't care what anyone says. Ugly Betty is one of my fave shows. And now that Adam Rodriguez is on there, I like it even more!

Well, that's it for this week. Until next time, adios!

47. Random Thoughts Thursday Part 2

Fall TV Season. In less than one week, the season premieres of most of my fave shows will come on. I'm SO excited (yeah, I have no life...so what). CSI Miami, Heroes, Ugly Betty, CSI New York, Criminal Minds, and Law & Order SVU. Add Glee to that and you've got a happy Rae. There are slight changes that can mess me up, though. Law & Order has been moved to Wednesdays. Why is that a problem, you may ask? IT COMES ON AT THE SAME TIME AS BOTH CRIMINAL MINDS AND GLEE!!! Why, oh why, did they move it to Wednesdays? I was perfectly fine with it being on Tuesdays. See, last year, I had Mon-Thurs set. Mon = Heroes & CSI Miami; Tues = Law & Order SVU (& occasionally, NCIS); Wed = Criminal Minds & CSI New York; and Thurs = Ugly Betty. Now, Mon stays the same, Tues = ?...maybe NCIS & NCIS Los Angeles; Wednesday = Glee, Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU then CSI New York; Thur = ?; Fri = Ugly Betty. Now, I have to decide what to do about 8 pm on Wednesday nights. *sigh* Tragedy, I tell you...Tragedy!

Adam Rodriguez. So, about 2 months ago, I heard that Tyler Perry had a new movie coming out. Now, I love TP's work, so I knew I wanted to see it, but when I heard that Adam Rodriguez was going to be in it, I knew I had to see it. I've had a 'grown up' crush on AR since watching CSI Miami for the first time years ago. In fact, he was the reason I first got hooked on CSI Miami. I needed my weekly dose of Eric Delko. Now, of course, it's not about Eric, I actually like the show. So yeah, I had to go see I Can Do Bad All By Myself. I'm so glad I did. To me, it was one of TP's best movies. And Taraji Henson is such a talented actress.

Okay, back to AR. I've found out that, after this season, my beloved Delko, will be no more. *sigh* I knew it, when I saw the season finale. It's a good thing I actually like CSI Miami, cos clearly if I didn't, I'd stop watching it (but I do, so no worries). On an awesome note, AR will be on 5 episodes of Ugly Betty with the possibility of staying longer. Ugly Betty is, of course, another one of my must-see shows, so I'm good. He moved from one fave show to another.

Mission Statements. So, I'm reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

I'm on Habit #2: Begin With the End in Mind. One of the things we're supposed to do is come up with a mission statement. I've finally come up with mine (after about 2 weeks). I wanted to add scriptures to my statement to know where I got the idea from. Like me, this state is a work in progress.

My mission in life is...
  • To serve God, glorify Him in all I do, and love Him with all my heart, soul, and mind (Deuteronomy 6:5; Deuteronomy 6:13; Romans 15:6)
  • To let God, my family, my friends, and the kids I work with know I love them through, not only my words, but also my actions (1 John 3:18)
  • To use every gift, talent, and ability God has given me to fulfill His purpose for me (1 Peter 4:10)
  • To educate, enrich, and inspire youth and help them realize their full potential in God (Mark 9:37; Mark 10:14)
  • To live a bold and abundant life through Christ (John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 3:12)
  • To take good care of my temporary home, Earth, just as God has commanded us (Genesis 1:28)
  • To use my words and actions to build people up instead of tear them down (Proverbs 20:11; Romans 12:18)
  • To let my 'Jesus' light shine for the world to see (Proverbs 13:9; Matthew 5:16)
