Spooky Halloween
It was Halloween on Honeycombe Hill and The Beezles were preparing for a fun night!
Mrs Bee had been helping each and every person in the garden to make a costume.
Only Mrs Bee knew what each Beezle would be dressing up as.
It was going to be so much fun!
The Clubhouse had been suitably decorated with fake cobwebs and spiders, pumpkin lanterns and orange fairy lights. Uncle McBuzz had been working all day to get everything in the Clubhouse ready for the big night.
Everyone was in Mrs Bee's shop, drinking juice and chattering excitedly.
"This is going to be great!" cackled Bazzil.
Bazzil saw the Spooky Halloween party as the perfect opportunity to be his usual naughty self.
Fuzzy and Chewy were discussing what time to meet and Mrs Bee made an announcement.
"Everyone! everyone!" Mrs Bee clapped her hands to get their attention.
"As you all know, tonight will be the Spooky Halloween party at the Clubhouse. Uncle McBuzz and I will be there from 7.00pm onwards.
There will be a prize for the spookiest costume and there will also be plenty to eat and drink. Thankyou".
Buzzy looked at the big clock in the shop and saw that it was 4.30pm.
Plenty of time to get ready! Buzzy was dressing as a goblin. He thought his costume was cool, and the makeup he was going to use would make him unrecognisable. He couldn't wait!
Soon, it was time for the party to begin, and one by one The Beezles and their friends began to arrive at the Clubhouse.
Mrs Bee and Uncle McBuzz were waiting at the door and were very pleased to see all the colourful costumes. This was going to be a very hard competition!
Bizzy had come as a mermaid and her costume was very pretty. Mrs Bee had made a little slit at the bottom of the fishtail dress, so that Bizzy could walk.
She had a little sea shell bracelet and matching necklace and a special sequined bikini top that Mitzi the hairdresser had lent her.
Buzzy was looking very green indeed! He had on a green goblin costume with a goblin hat and had a false nose and had painted his face green!
He looked very good indeed!
Bazzil had come as a ghost. He had a white sheet over his head with two little holes so that he could see. He floated around the clubhouse with the white sheet trailing on the floor. Everyone was very afraid!!
Uncle McBuzz chuckled as the residents of Honeycombe Hill filled the hall.
He could almost guess who everyone was, but there was one character he could not figure out.
It was a dalek! Whoever had made this costume had done a very good job.
Mrs Bee put on some music and everyone danced and laughed.
She then announced that there was food and drink on the table at the back of the hall, and that everyone could help themselves.
The Beezles were having a ball! This really was great fun and they were loving the lemonade which Mrs Bee had named "Bat juice" and all of the fancy halloween food.
Soon it was time for the parade, and Uncle McBuzz put the lights up.
Everyone had to parade in a circle and Mrs Bee, Uncle McBuzz and some visitors from the other gardens were going to do the judging.
There was a first , second and third prize and as everyone had done a really good job, there were no losers as Uncle McBuzz gave them all a halloween lollipop.
"Mrs Bee we have had such a great time!" said Buzzy.
Mrs Bee laughed and patted Buzzy's head.
"You look very green Buzzy, are you going to be sick?" and they both laughed until they ached.
As The Beezles and their friends headed back to their little houses, Uncle McBuzz locked the clubhouse door and chuckled once more to himself.
This had been a funny party and he was happy as everyone had fun.
Have you ever had a spooky halloween party?
See you next time!!

The Lonely Pixie
by evelynsmith @ 2007-06-06 - 18:07:14
Diddley the Pixie lived in an enchanted forest. He wore a green jacket and green trousers which came to his knees. A little pair of red pixie shoes and a black belt round his waist, Diddley looked very smart indeed!
Diddley had pointed ears and a huge grin, but right now Diddley was very very sad.
You see, Diddley had no-one to play with. He lived all alone in a small pixie house which was very nice inside, but he was lonely and wished he had some friends.
Of course he chatted with the rabbits and squirrels and birds, but it just wasn't the same as having another pixie friend.
One day Diddley decided to go for a walk. He placed an apple an orange and a flask of water in a red handkerchief and tied the corners together.
He pulled a stick from the forest floor and tied the handkerchief to it.
Diddley swung the stick over his shoulder and off he set whistling as he went.
The forest was very beautiful indeed. There were many trees of all shapes and sizes, beautiful birds with colours in their feathers like you've never seen before, brightly coloured toadstools and all sorts of magical creatures and insects.
Diddley thought he'd walk till he got tired and then settle down for a piece of fruit and a drink. He walked and walked and walked and walked until eventually he could go no further.
"Goodnesses me! Goodnesses me! my legs are ever so tired!" Diddley said out loud.
"Goodnesses you indeed!" said a voice from high up in a tree.
Diddley almost jumped into the sky! He'd got such a fright!
"Who said that!" said Diddley.
"ME!" said the voice from the tree.
Diddley stood up and looked up into the tree. He thought he could see something moving. Suddenly, Diddley felt someone tapping his shoulder.
He spun round and much to his surprise there stood a little fairy!
The fairy giggled and held out her hand.
"Hello. My name is Demada. What's yours?"
Diddley shook Demada's hand and blushed.
"My name is Diddley" Diddley replied.
"Where do you live?" asked Demada.
"I live in the forest. Where do you live?"
"I live in the forest too!" cried Damada.
"Then why haven't I seen you before? I thought I was the only pixie living in this enchanted forest"said Diddley.
Demada laughed. "The only pixie living in the forest!" she squealed.
"We have a fairy land further into the forest and there's lot's of pixie's live there!"
Diddley was puzzled. He scratched his head and tightened his belt. If there was indeed a fairy land with lots of pixie's living there, then he would never be lonely again!
"So where is this fairy land? Would I be able to come and live there? I am after all a pixie" said Diddley.
Demada frowned and bit her lip.
"Hmm. Now then. I'm not sure about that. I'd have to ask the Logical Pixie. He is the one who would know the answer"
Diddley looked sad again. He so wanted to have friends and this fairy land sounded perfect!
"Could you ask him if it's alright?" asked Diddley.
"Alright" said Demada. "you wait here and I'll be back quicker than the rain falls." and with that Demada was gone in a puff of glittery smoke.
Diddley drank his water. He ate his apple. He ate his orange. He paced up and down.Up and Down, then poof! Demada was there in front of him.
"Logical Pixie said you can stay!" Demada grinned.
"Let's go get your things and then we can be back in fairy land before dark"
Diddley and Demada went back to Diddley's little house and collected his clothes and belongings.
Diddley then pulled his flute from his pocket and played a little tune.
The tune let Diddley's flying ladybird friend know that he needed her.
Ladybird flew down and Diddley and Demada loaded all the things onto her back. Next, they climbed on her back and Demada whispered in her ear where to go.
Soon they arrived in fairy land and everyone was waiting to greet Diddley. There were hundreds of fairies and pixies and elves, all cheering and clapping their hands!
Diddley felt very important indeed.
Logical Pixie stepped forward and introduced himself to Diddley.
"We hope you will be very happy here" said Logical Pixie, and showed Diddley his new house.
Diddley was so happy he thought he would cry!
"Put your belongings away and then come to the Fairy Ring at the centre of the land. We're having a welcome party for you!" said Demada.
Diddley thought he would split his face he was grinning so much.
He made many many friends and had a great time at the party.
As he lay in his little bed in his new house in Fairy Land, Diddley just knew that he'd never be lonely again!

The Fairycakes
by evelynsmith @ 2007-06-08
The Fairycakes were a group of girlie cakes with various toppings.
There were pink, lemon, lime. blueberry, strawberry and raspberry toppers.
All of the Fairycakes had little wings and sparkling tiara's.
Their world was pink and fluffy, but they all had one thing to fear.
THE MUNCHITY MONSTER!!!
The Munchity Monster loved to eat cake. He would eat cake all day long if he could. He was always trying to think of a way to capture and eat the Fairycakes.
The Fairycakes had to be very careful that the Munchity Monster got no-where near their castle. They had guards and a lookout in the watchtower, but still they worried that one day the Munchity Monster would get to them.
Munchity Monster lived in a Chocolate Pie House. His house was near the swamp and no-one ever went there. It was far too frightening! If you listened very carefully at night, you could the Munchity Monster slurping and chomping and quite often snoring!
Pink fairycake hopped impatiently from one foot to the other.
"Oh Strawberry! please hurry up! We are going to be late!" she cried.
Pink and Strawberry were to meet the other Fairycakes at the orchard.
When they rushed to the gate, the other Fairycakes were waiting.
Lime Fairycake, Lemon Fairycake,Blueberry and Raspberry Fairycake were chatting about their tiara's.
Lime Fairycake was funny! Her tiara was always lopsided, and her tiny wings flapped continuously! Everyone thought that Lime was making her wings do this, but she really wasn't!!
The Fairycakes entered the orchard and each of them took a basket from the store. Then they began to pick the fruit.
Lemon reached up to pick the lemons from the tree and place them in her basket.
Lime was bumping the tree with her bottom and the limes were dropping from the tree like flies! The limes bounced off everyone's heads and Pink Fairycake tutted.
"For goodness sake Lime! Do be careful!" she shouted.
Blueberry, Strawberry and Raspberry were at the other side of the orchard. Their baskets were almost full.
Soon it would be time to take the fruit they had gathered to the big banana bus. This was where the fruit was used to make special fairycakes for the supermarket.
Suddenly, there was a loud slurping noise that could only be one thing.
MUNCHITY MONSTER! The Fairycakes looked at one another and flew as quickly as they could to the banana bus. They locked all the windows and doors and sat huddled together in a corner.
Bert the bus driver wasn't afraid at all.
"Crikey girls! Don't be so scared. I won't let Munchity anywhere near this bus. This is MY bus, and he'd better not come near!".
The Fairycakes peeped through the window and could see Munchity coming towards the bus.
Bert blasted the horn and flashed the headlights. Munchity didn't like the horn. It hurt his ears! He turned and ran back to the swamp. He'd come back later! Oh yes he would! If it was the last thing he did, he'd make sure he had some of those scrumptious, tastey Fairycakes!
The Fairycakes breathed a sigh of relief.
"Has he gone?" asked Raspberry.
"He's gone alright" replied Bert. "and he'd better not come back!"
Bert straightened his cap and went back to sorting out the fruit.
"I really do think we should be getting home now " said Lemon.
"It's starting to get dark and we have yet to have our supper!"
The girls headed back to their castle, which was a huge white meringue with a cherry on top. Their castle looked very splendid indeed.
The walls of the castle were sprinkled with pastel coloured sugar strands and the door was a fluffy pink mallow.
As the fairycakes approached the castle, they almost jumped out of their icing sugared coats. Munchity was lying in wait!!!!...........................
to be continued......
The Fairycakes were very afraid. Munchity had been hiding behind a bush, and goodness knows what the guards and the watchtower lookout were doing! They must have fallen asleep!
Munchity slurped and burped and moved slowly towards the Fairycakes.
"Yum!" he slurped.
Pink and Lemon clung to one another, whilst Blueberry ,Strawberry and Raspberry shouted as loud as they could.
"wake up guards!" they called.
Pink was fluttering her tiny wings and trying to fly over Munchity to where the guards were.
Munchity threw his huge hand out, and Pink was almost captured!
"Whew! that was close!" she squealed.
Pink landed on the watchtower guards' head.
"wake up! wake up!" she cried in his ear.
The watchtower guard rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"What time is it?" he asked.
"Time you saw to that horrid Munchity Monster! That's what time it is!" said Pink.
The watchtower guard stood up quickly and blew his whistle.
Munchity stopped in his tracks. He didn;t like whistle's. Or horns tooting, or bright lights.
The other guards soon woke up and they too began blowing their horns and flashing their torches at Munchity.
Munchity held his ears and ran as fast as his big hairy legs would carry him.
The Fairycakes were safe at last!
"Thank goodness" said Blueberry, and the other Fairycakes hugged one another in relief.
"We really must make sure that the guards don't fall asleep again" said Lemon.
"I will speak to them in the morning, and they will have to guard our castle in turns".
The Fairycakes then went to bed, still talking about what almost happened and what the Munchity Monster could have done!

POPPY AND MATILDA
by evelynsmith @ 2007-06-08
Poppy and Matilda were two little robins who both had beautiful red feathers on their chest.
They lived in a little wooden house at the top of an old oak tree.
Their house was very neat and tidy, the only problem was, it was also very cold.
No matter how hard they tried, Poppy and Matilda could just not find the right thing to keep their little house warm.
It was especially cold in the winter when the snow fell. Sometimes, there were icicles hanging from the roof of their house and Poppy and Matilda would shiver to their bones!
One day,as they were hanging out their washing to dry, the most beautiful silvery blue butterfly passed by.
"Hello" said the butterfly.
"Hello" said Poppy.
"Hello" said Matilda.
The butterfly landed on a branch of the tree.
"Where are you going to?" asked Poppy.
"I'm going to where the silver thread is spun by the invisible spiders'" the butterfly replied.
"Silver thread?" said Matilda.
"Yes. Haven't you heard about silver thread?" asked the butterfly.
"It is said that the silver thread has magical powers. Silver thread can do all sorts of things you know!".
Matilda and Poppy looked at one another. They were both thinking the very same thing.
"Do you think the silver thread would keep our house warm? It gets awfully cold in the winter-time" said Matilda.
The butterfly thought for a minute before replying.
"Well, there's only one way to find out! Come with me and we'll ask the invisible spiders if this is so".
Matilda and Poppy were very excited. This could be the first winter that their house would be cosy and snug.
The butterfly led the way. Matilda felt like she'd been flying for days!
This was a very long journey indeed!
Poppy wasn't tired at all.She was far too excited to feel tired!
Soon, the butterfly stopped at some trees.
"Look closely and you will see the silver thread" she said.
Matilda and Poppy saw the thread sparkling in the sunlight.
"Now then. Where are the invisible spiders?" asked Matilda.
The butterfly began to sing very softly.
"Spider spider where are you?"
"Spider make a dream come true".
Suddenly, Matilda and Poppy heard a little voice. They could see no-one, but they heard the voice.
"We're here" said the spiders.
Butterfly asked if Matilda and Poppy could have some of the magical silver thread. She explained that their house was very cold in the winter and that the robins hoped the silver thread would heat their house.
This was very strange indeed, thought Poppy. She could hear the spiders clearly, but still she could not see them.
The spiders told the butterfly that Matilda and Poppy could have as much of the silver thread as they could carry, and so the robins along with the butterfly began to gather the silver thread.
Poppy and Matilda stood back and smiled at one another. Their little house was now so warm and it was all thanks to the butterfly and the magical silver thread.
"Thankyou butterfly" said the two little robins, "never again will our house be cold!".
As the butterfly went on her way, Poppy and Matilda were now two cosy robins in a beautiful silver lined nest.

Fairy Twinkletoes
by evelynsmith @ 2007-06-07 - 08:01:33
Twinkletoes was a little fairy who lived in Fairy Land.
She could never work out why she'd been named Twinkletoes.
Twinkletoes could sing and laugh. She could do magic and make wishes come true, but Twinkletoes could not dance.
As hard as she tried, she just couldn't make her feet do the right thing!
She tripped and stumbled and bumped into toadstools, and most of the time she fell down.
This made Twinkletoes unhappy. Everytime the fairies were dancing in a ring, Twinkletoes had to sit at the side. Everyone laughed when Twinkletoes tried to dance. It just wasn't fair!
One day, as the other fairies were practising dancing in a ring, Twinkletoes wandered to the wishing well.
The wishing well was next to the Talking Flowers, right at the bottom of the garden.
"Oh how I wish I could dance!" cried Twinkletoes.
The Talking Flowers , who all spoke together at the same time, were very concerned about Twinkltoes.
"Why are you so sad Twinkletoes?" asked the Flowers.
"Well, Im the only fairy in the whole of the garden who can't dance!" cried Twinkletoes.
"Make a wish with the fairydust from the wishing well" chanted the Talking Flowers.
"I can't do that!" said Twinkletoes "Fairy dust is NOT for fairies to make wishes for themselves!"
The Talking Flowers huddled together and whispered to one another about how they could help Twinkletoes.
"We can help you" said the Flowers.
"How can you help?" asked Twinkletoes.
"Come and stand amongst us and we will teach you how to dance"
Twinkletoes could not imagine that the Flowers would be able to teach her, but she was so upset at not being able to dance, she decided to give it a try. As she stood in the middle of the Talking Flowers, the Magical Wind Chimes began to tinkle.
The Talking Flowers swayed from side to side, and back and forth.
They pulled Twinkletoes this way and that, back and forth, until Twinkletoes felt quite dizzy!
The Magical Wind Chimes tinkled faster and faster, until suddenly, hooray! Twinkletoes was dancing to the music!
The Talking Flowers clapped their hands in delight, and the Magical Wind Chimes tinkled merrily with joy.
Twinkletoes laughed and cried at the same time. She was so happy!
She couldn't wait to get back to the fairy ring and show her friends her new found dancing skills.
The Talking Flowers waved goodbye and Twinkletoes hurried back to the fairy ring.
"Amellia! Tamara! Everyone!" Twinkletoes called as she got nearer to the ring. "Watch me!" and she danced round and round in perfect time to the music.
All of Twinkletoes friends were delighted that she could join in the fairy ring and dance with them.
Petunia, the Fairy Godmother, gave Twinkletoes a beautiful pair of silver dancing shoes. They were made from silver spider thread and sparkled as Twinkletoes moved.
"Oh thankyou Petunia!" cried Twinkletoes.
As Twinkletoes tied the laces of her new dancing shoes, she was the happiest little fairy in the land!

Can you finish the verse?
Can you finish the verse?
Mrs Bee was having a craft night in the Clubhouse.
She had told everyone that she hoped to see them there and not to be late.
Bizzy was very excited. She liked to make things! She hoped Mrs Bee would let them make cards.
Bizzy liked making cards, and as it was almost Christmas , cards would be a good thing to make.
Fuzzy came to meet Bizzy and together they headed to the Clubhouse. It was beginning to get dark, and Uncle McBuzz said the clocks would be going back soon.
This meant that it would be darker in the evenings.
"Ooh it's very cold!" said Fuzzy as she shook her little white tail.
Bizzy had put on her pink fluffy scarf and hat. She was cosy and warm.
"Look! I can see my breath in the air!" exclaimed Fuzzy.
Bizzy giggled. Fuzzy was very excitable and was now making silly noises as she blew into the chilly air.
Soon the girls arrived at the Clubhouse. Mrs Bee was sitting at a table with some of the ladybugs.
"Hello girls!" she called as Bizzy and Fuzzy entered the hall.
Bizzy looked around and saw that the Clubhouse was quite busy There were some visitors from the other gardens and everyone was chatting as they waited for Mrs Bee to begin.
"Good evening !" called Mrs Bee. "It's lovely so to see so many of you here tonight. Such a frosty night it is too!"
"Now, shall we start?"
Everyone nodded and Fuzzy let out a little "yipee".
Mrs Bee told the class that they would be making Christmas Calendars.
She handed everyone a little calendar tag and told them to fetch glue, scissors, ribbon and card from the table at the front of the hall.
All Bizzy could hear was the scraping of chairs on the wooden floor! It was like a stampede!
"Take your time now!" Mrs Bee shouted.
Fuzzy and Bizzy settled themselves at their table.
Bizzy had chosen red ribbon and white card She had silver glitter, glue and a calendar tag.
Fuzzy had red card, some cotton wool, crayons and gold glitter.
The girls began to design their Christmas calendars and were having so much fun!
The ladybugs were very busy indeed and they seemed to talk as quickly as they worked.
Soon, Bizzy sat back in her chair and held up her calender. A little sprinkling of glitter fell to the table and Bizzy shook the calendar till there was no more dust to fall.
It looked lovely! She had drawn a snowman and had given him a scarf and hat.
She'd put some glue round the snowman and had sprinkled some glitter onto the glue.
It sparkled and Bizzy was very pleased.
Fuzzy had drawn a picture of Santa Claus. He looked very cheery and he had lots of red glitter on his cheeks!
Mrs Bee walked round the tables looking at what everyone had done. She nodded and smiled as she went round, and gave everyone nice comments about their work.
"Well now, I think we have all done really well this evening" said Mrs Bee.
"Do you want to take your calenders home with you tonight? Or shall we use them for sale at the Christmas Fete?"
Some of the class wanted to take their calenders home, and others were happy to leave them.
Mrs Bee thought it would be nice to sell the calenders. The money from the Christmas Fete was being donated to the hospital at the bottom of Ladybug Lane.
This was where any sick residents of Honeycombe Hill went if they were poorly.
In fact, Lena the duck was very poorly and would probably be in hospital over Christmas. Such a shame!
Bizzy and Fuzzy gave Mrs Bee their calenders and said she could sell them at the fete. Mrs Bee thanked the girls very much!
As Fuzzy and Bizzy headed home they were looking forward to the next craft class.
I wonder what they will make next time?

There once was a pie
That fell from the sky
And landed on Honeycombe Hill
The Beezles quite soon
Arrived with a spoon
And ate till they all felt quite ill !!
Philip frog was enjoying a lazy day.
He's been to the park on Honeycombe Hill yesterday and today he was busy doing nothing.
Philip lay in the shade and closed his eyes. He'd have a little sleep and then maybe splash around in the pond.
Yes, that's what he'd do.
As Philip snoozed he thought he was dreaming when he heard a tiny squeak.
"Squeak! Squeak!"
Philip opened his eyes and looked around.
"Squeak! Squeak!"
He saw something move in the bush nearby and hopped over to see what it was.
Goodness! It was a little hoglet!
"Squeak! squeak!"
Philip gently spoke to the hoglet.
"Hello little hoglet. Are you lost?"
"Squeak! squeak!"
Philip was puzzled and frowned as he wondered what to do.
The baby hedgehog was very small indeed. It's little eyes were barely opened and Philip knew he'd have to help.
Quickly Philip hopped to Fuzzy's house.
"Fuzzy! Are you here?" Philip called.
Fuzzy came to the door of her house and smiled at Philip.
"Hello there! What's wrong? You look very worried Philip" said Fuzzy.
Phillip quckly explained about the little hoglet and he and Fuzzy ran back to the pond.
"Oh poor little thing" said Fuzzy as she gently picked up the hoglet and carried it to her house.
Fuzzy gave the little hoglet some warm milk and wrapped him in a fleecy blanket.
"There you go little one, now we'll try and find your mummy."
Fuzzy sent Phillip to have a look for Mrs Hedgehog and she herself ran to Mrs Bee's shop.
Hoglet was snug and warm in the fleecy blanket and had now fallen asleep in Fuzzy's house.
Mrs Bee came quickly with Fuzzy to the edge of the woods and they looked in all the bushes and under the hedges for Mrs Hedgehog.
Where could she be?
Mrs Hedgehog was looking for Hoglet and was very worried indeed. She'd no idea how he'd managed to stray, and now she was almost crying.
She'd looked everywhere and still she could not find her baby.
"Oh Mrs Bee!" cried Mrs Hedgehog. "I've lost my baby hoglet and don't know what to do!"
Mrs Bee and Fuzzy had met Mrs Hedgehog in the woods.
"Oh don't cry my dear" said Mrs Bee as she put her arm around Mrs Hedgehog.
"We've got your little hoglet right here at Honeycombe Hill. Philip found him squeaking in a bush and he's all tucked up at Fuzzy's house"
Together they headed back to where Fuzzy had left hoglet.
He was sound asleep.
Mrs Hedgehog lifted him gently and carried him back home to where his brothers and sisters were waiting.
"Thankyou all so much!" said Mrs Hedgehog and everyone kissed hoglet goodbye.

The idea is that each time you click on my blog to read a story, a small donation to Yorkhill would automatically be made.
I've no idea how this would work, I'm waiting to hear from Yorkhill.
Any feedback would be much appreciated !

Everyone on Honeycombe Hill was fast asleep in bed.
It was very quiet and only the sound of Oswald Owl hooting could be heard every now and then.
"Woo-woo!" he called.
Oswald could feel something happening in the air. It was a frosty night and the star babies were no-where to be seen. Oswald snuggled down into his feathery coat and tried to sleep, but it was no use.
He was very excited as tonight was Christmas Eve.
This was the night that Santa Claus came to Honeycombe Hill and left presents for each and every person.
Oswald wondered what time Santa would arrive. Mrs Bee had told him that Santa would not appear until everyone was asleep.
Oswald closed his eyes and tried to dream of the next morning.
Mrs Bee had made some beautiful Christmas stockings for all of the Beezles. She had used red felt to cut out the shape of a stocking and had trimmed the top with white fur and silver bells.
Bizzy loved her stocking! She'd hung it at the foot of her bed and had tried to stay awake in time for Santa, but now she was sleeping soundly.
Bazzil and Buzzy and Zubby had decided to stay together in Buzzy's house.
They wanted to wake in the morning and show one another their gifts from Santa. They'd had a pillow fight and had played some games, and now they too were fast asleep.
Oswald shifted around in his tree. This was no use! He just couldn't get to sleep!
Oswald felt something landing on his nose.Plop! Then another plop on his spectacles. He opened his eyes and looked, and much to his joy he saw that it was snowing!!
"Woo-woo! woo-woo!" he called.
This was great! They were going to have a white Christmas on Honeycombe Hill.
His friends would be so delighted when they woke in the morning.
Strangely, this made Oswald sleepy, and he soon snuggled down to go to sleep.
Uncle McBuzz was putting the last bauble on the little tree in his front room.
He was late this year as he had been so busy decorating the fir tree at the bottom of the garden.
He was very pleased with the fir tree as it sparkled and glittered with fairylights and shiney baubles. Mrs Bee had hugged him tightly and thanked him for doing such a great job.
The whole of the garden at Honeycombe Hill twinkled and glittered with fairylights, as Uncle had hung them on every branch of every tree and he'd even had some extra for the door of Mrs Bee's shop.
The garden looked enchanted and quite perfect for Christmas Eve.............
"I've got a truck!" squealed Zubby.
"Let me see!" said Buzzy, and together they played with Zubby's shiney red truck which Santa had left.
"I got a bat and ball!" said Bazzil, "and an orange and some sweets!"
"Oh I love my new dolly!" said Fuzzy Wuzzy Bunny.
"Me too!"replied Bizzy as she danced around the house with her new teddy bear.
The Beezles and their friends were having the most wonderful morning.
Santa Claus had been to Honeycombe Hill and had left them with lovely gifts. They were all very pleased.
Mrs Bee was setting the table at the Clubhouse, where everyone would gather for Christmas lunch.
She'd told everyone to wear their best party clothes and to be at the Clubhouse for 1.00pm...............................

"Ooh! I'm really excited!" said Bizzy.
"Me too!" replied Fuzzy, and they both ran to Mrs Bee's shop to meet with their friends.

So if I were to write another story for Blogland, which would you prefer?
1. Spooky Halloween
2. The Bonfire
3. A Beezles Merry Christmas
I'm waiting!
Who do you imagine reads your blog?
I sometimes wonder at the page views and visitor stats!!!!
Who are these people reading? Who are they?!!
Mrs Bee had noticed that the Beezles were beginning to look untidy.
Buzzy's hair was getting very long! It no longer looked smart.
She had threatened to put ribbons in his hair and the other Beezles had laughed.
The hairdresser's name was Mitzy. Mitzy was a very good hairdresser and everyone liked her. She always smelt like shampoo and she talked the whole time she was cutting hair.
Mitzy had a special gown which she put on her customers to stop the cut hair from landing on their clothes.
She had spoken to Mrs Bee on the telephone and was looking forward to seeing everyone on Honeycombe Hill.
Mitzy packed her little car with all the things that she needed.
Scissors, comb, brush, gown, shampoo, and a large broom for sweeping the hair from the floor.
Just then Mitzy arrived in her little van.
Fuzzy and Bizzy, Bazzil and Zubby, Chewy and Buzzy, all sat in Mrs Bee's shop waiting.
"Helloooo!" called Mitzy. "How are you all?"
Everyone ran to Mitzy and shook her hand. Bizzy and Fuzzy gave her a hug.
"Who's first then?" asked Mitzy.
Bazzil said he'd be first and sat on the chair in Mitzy's van.
Soon everyone had had their hair cut and Fuzzy had her hair curled.
"Oh my! you all look so smart!" exclaimed Mrs Bee. "Thankyou Mitzy!"
Mitzy asked Fuzzy and Bizzy if they'd like to help her tidy up, and they both were very happy to do so.
"Mitzy, do you have any old magazines that we can have please?" asked Fuzzy.
"Oh yes! I've got four here, so that's two each"
Bizzy and Fuzzy were delighted!
"Thankyou Mitzy" they said together.
Mitzy then opened her bag and produced some perfume.
"Would you girls like a little spray of my perfume?"
Bizzy and Fuzzy squealed in delight!
Mitzy then gave them both a little of her lip gloss and told them to remember to wash it off before bedtime.
The girls were so happy! Mitzy really was so nice to them and made them feel like real girls.
As Mitzy drove away from Honeycombe Hill, everyone waved goodbye.
"Mrs Bee" said Fuzzy. "when will Mitzy be back again?"
Everyone laughed!
