"Mostra Internazionale dell’Illustrazione per l’Infanzia" exhibition with an
illustration inspired by an Arctic tale with a little girl called Akkanidi, a bear and the Thunder.

Pentru ca mi-am vazut renul din Laponia, mi-am adus aminte si de felicitari. Daca ati fost cuminti, ati cumparat deja si le-ati si trimis prietenilor si nu numai. Puteti, cel mult, sa va ganditi ca de la mine veti lua anul viitor si sa ma adaugati la pastrare la categoria "felicitari d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.a.s.e". Daca ati fost cuminti dar ocupati mai sunt totusi sanse sa recuperati:


Se pot cumpara direct de la mine cu livrare gratuita in Timisoara (in maxim 24 de ore) pentru cantitati mai mari de 50 de bucati. Le mai gasiti la targul de Craciun din Piata Operei (Timisoara), prin Bogie-shop la targul de Craciun de la Sala Dalles, la targul de Craciun de la Sibiu si, bineinteles, in magazinul propriu din Bucuresti, Calea Victoriei 101, vis-a-vis de teatrul Act.
Le mai puteti gasi, tot in Bucuresti, la magazinul Wagner - arte frumoase si povesti pe Bulevardul Carol nr. 39. In final (si in cea mai mare cantitate), le gasiti - ca si anul trecut - in reteaua magazinelor Carturesti din Cluj, Iasi, Constanta, Suceava, Bucuresti si Timisoara.

Nu m-am blazat, am fost ocupata. Asa de ocupata incat mi-am uitat parola de la blog si am uitat ca, de cateva zile incoace, nu prea mai am mare lucru de facut.
In rutina si viteza mea, cautand pe site-ul ING comisioanele pentru tranzactii in valuta mi-am gasit renul si familia. Campania pe care o asteptam cu nerabdare s-a si terminat...

I've made some drawings out of points ready to be united according to their numbers.
Because everything was about Don Quixote, I did some wind mills and giants, of course.
Hope you like them and let me know if you see yourself in one of the photos.

I was even closer to the scene and the sound, of course, was way much better.
Anyway, thanks to this guy for taking his camera and for mixing this.

I recently was chosen to do an illustration for the
cover of the Euro AB-CD book. This is a lovely collaborative project
initiated by The Cultural Dreamweavers Foundation
from The Netherlands. It reunites a number of 27
illustrators, one from each European Union's member state.
I recently found out that Steve Simpson, one of my
favorites, is representing his country (Ireland) and was chosen to illustrate the page for letter "I", so, I can't wait to see the book!

Saw this on Cri's blog but I wanted to post this here too because I loved it sooo much.

This is one illustration I recently did for Headvertising. I think it's perfect for this season and for IF's topic Little Things.

I have also updated my portfolio with some other new
illustrations. Take a peak.

I have been tagged a week ago by my friend mike r baker to tell five things about me.
First of all, I'm sorry it has taken me so long. It's not because I don't know who I am and what I like, but it's because I got really busy with a lot of projects, a part-time job, the Christmass fever and a personal exhibition (not exactly in this order).

But here they are:

1. I would love to be able to live for three-four months in one place and than move to another.
I would love to travel like this and hopefully I will do it someday.
I would definitely stat my voyage here because I love ships and dockyards and I've been dreaming about that place since I was a child.

2. I don't sleep very much. I really don't need it. I'm very creative at night and I prefer to work.
Everything else but painting. I only paint during daytime.

3. I hate laziness and I fight really hard not to judge layzy people. I must admit I don't succeed every day.

4. If I will ever have kids, I will not go with them at the circus. If I could, I would stop all the kids from going to the circus, if they have animals. I really feel pity for them (at least, for the ones I've seen traveling with them).

5. I love goats. I love them because they are smelly and unpretentious.

on IF but I'm really starting to miss it, so here is my contribution

Da. Cam de doua saptamani si cu multe regrete. Cateva imagini dintr-o gradina botanica la care inca ma mai gandesc zilnic si de la o Documenta mai umana (a nu se citi mai slaba) decat cea de acum cinci ani.

In data de 01.06 a luat nastere un grup de ilustratori romani: ILLOSTATION. In prezent grupul are doar trei membri insa in curand multi altii ni se vor alatura.

Ne-am propus sa-i cunoastem mai bine pe cei care ilustreaza deja de multi ani, ne-am propus sa-i cunoastem mai bine si pe cei care de-abia acum au inceput si ne-am mai propus sa impartasim idei si resurse. Ar mai fi multe lucruri la care ne-am gandit insa cred ca aici le-a exprimat Cri mai bine.

Daca vreti sa cititi primul articol scris pentru Illostation (despre o scurta istorie a ilustratiei), o puteti face aici. Sper sa va placa si sa-l gasiti folositor pentru ca urmeaza mai multe articole despre tehnici si procedee de lucru si mai urmeaza si cateva interviuri.

Va asteptam cu drag sa ne vizitati si sa participati.
