29. Hotchkiss Library Book Signing/Benefit

Tons of fun earlier this month at the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon's annual benefit/book signing. Great company (J.C. Phillips especially) and the most delicious cupcakes (from Jam in Sharon).

Many thanks for having us!

30. Bears and Berries

Check out this print over here on etsy.

While my much loved bf is away for a family reunion I have gone work crazy. No, it is not too much work developing two books and stocking my etsy shop for December while perfecting my new portfolio of younger kids work. Watched a ton of movies, played my violin two hours a day and hiked every mountain in the area. Weekend success!

Hope you're all enjoying the break from the heat.

34. Horse Flowers

A story I recently illustrated for MeeGenius has been released! Check it out over here. It was a fun week or two of illustrating horses, flowers and action scenes. There is the added novelty of having the story read to you when you click on the link. Thanks to Heeral Cheeber for the project.

35. A bunch of new pieces

While we've been experiencing some truly sweltering heat in the North East, I have been hard at work on some new illustrations. Some book work coming - hope you like ketchup!

38. Adventure Time!

A card I made for my partner for our anniversary. There is some intense Adventure Time in our midst - so what the theme of the card should be was fairly obvious. He is a big BMO fan.

40. Pet portraits

It has been pet portrait mania over the last month or so over at my etsy shop, since my custom pet portraits were featured on the etsy.com blog as a great Mother's Day gift. These are a wonderful project to work on during my after work down time.

Some of my favorites! The shop link if anyone is interested, here

Kids e-book updates coming soon. In the meantime, it is as hot as boiling water outside (and just as humid).

42.

These are two illustrations from an upcoming illustration for the FarFaria app I've been working on. The story is called 'Kindness Grows'. I've been experimenting more and more with textured flat colors. Really simplifies things!

I can't believe it's May already! We may have to slip away this afternoon and go for a hike.

46. Pugs and pastries

I'm finding creating these etsy prints very stimulating. They really help me finish my regular work faster. I suppose that is just making sure I'm drawing more than I normally have time for.

This is the newest - of pugs and pastries. Corgies and cupcakes, next. Why not?

I recently starting using the etsy account I made so long ago (oops).

There are a lot of little projects I usually makes for friends (or my boyfriend) that are very pleasurable to make but have no place in my portfolio. Etsy is their new home! I have such a wonderful time making these.
