Just a quick update on this piece...both versions will be available at My Tag Art.
So, here's one of my latest sketches, a sweet little girl with her
new chick. Spring is 'a comin' lol, and lots of new chicks as well.
Some of you know that I raise poultry, and new chicks are one of my favorite things!
I haven't decided yet whether I will watercolor her, use colored pencils,
or maybe just get more detailed with the pencil.
I'll share with you again when she's finished!
I finished this girl in the wee hours of the night..maybe I was dreaming about her
standing in a
sunny summer field?!
I'll be sending her to My Tag Art, so watch for the image to be available there
if you like her!
It's another snowy day here in Missouri...perfect to stay inside and draw/paint
or of course, take a nap lol.

So here is a drawing, "In My Garden," that I've been messing around with for over a week!
She started out like this, and I decided I wanted to experiment with adding
a touch of color to my pencil portraits. Sooo, I have been adding some watercolor
to her, and I'm not liking it yet lol. Maybe I'm just a pencil person? Maybe
these particular watercolors are not great quality..I'm not sure but
what a time I've had with her lol.
IF it's presentable, I'll share the finished watercolor with you,
if not, it may hit the trash can and all that will remain is this :o)
Well, here's my doodles of the day...I am so ready for bed but for
some reason I'm not there yet?!
Well for moms, there's never really any down time right?
I felt like drawing something that would make you say "awww" lol,
so here they are.
Hope you're safe, warm and well in your corner of the world....
Wasn't it just Christmas?!
Sure feels like it, but time to get with it and jump into the next holiday lol.

Just wanted to share a link to ebay with you if you like to collect or buy artist ACEO cards. I don't collect them myself but I really enjoy browsing through them! :-)
I may do some of these in the future, but for now I'll just have fun checking out everyone elses's :-)

We all seem to have those fair weather friends, right?
Not the Elifumps..they are there for you even through the stormiest weather!
Well, here are the latest critters in my art assortment,
Hug-A-Bugs.
My fiance suggested that I draw some cute little bugs if you can believe that,
and he told me never to tell that they were his idea, but I know
that you all can keep a secret. LOL
He's this rugged carpenter, so you'd never expect that from him, but he's
also an artist(musician and a little visual) so I suppose
it's not all that surprising!
The first image was drawn, then digitally painted, and
the second drawn and finished in colored pencil.
Feedback on which you prefer would be great!
I think I'm leaning toward colored pencil?

I'm so partial to pencil drawings, that I'm often tempted to leave
them as they are. I know most prefer color so I do add color to most of them,
but I almost always prefer the blk/wht/gry!
