What make this really work for me is the right hand. I see it as gripping the table just shy of diggin the nails in. It really brings the sour expression into the entire body. I wish I could get that much subtlety with so few lines.

The wonderful message that you wrote, Michelle, deserves a ton of comments. I hope you continue to benefit from IF. I feel the same as you about IF, only, thank the Lord, I haven't lost a dear loved one yet. But it was my friend, Doug Jones' urging that got me into starting a story blog that became Trowbridge.
