The texture is so cool on this. The character is really nice. I kinda think the texture is what I look at most though, more than the character. They don't really seem to be unified together. I really like the colors. It looks like it was a ton of fun to do.

Thanks for the comment. I work with gouache mostly when I am painting, but a lot of the stuff on my website is actually digital.

Those look really great Dani. I like the same-but-still-different quality that your gouache stuff has to your regular style. It would be great to see more of this stuff.

I love your gouache studies. The first one in particular has lovely colors; it makes me impatient for autumn. The ninja beaver is hilarious!

What a fun illustration! I love the bubbles on the surface of the liquid and the steam wafting up. Great color palette too. You asked for critiques - the only change I would suggest would be to make the witch's nose where it meets the forehead and eyebrows a bit cooler in color instead of the warm dark red since it's facing away from the warm brew.

Very nice Dani, you're so good with lighting and color. The characters are wonderful and I love that elephant. One thing I did notice however (I don't know if you did it on purpose though so ignore this if you did :)) the elephant looks like he's looking at the tip of his trunk instead of the book or the mouse like the other three characters are. But anyways it looks awesome. p.s. thanks for the critiques you've given me on my pieces, it helps me out a lot!

The amazing thing about Charlotte's Web is that it's the only story I can think of where the protagonist is a spider!

Thanks for the comments guys. Jennifer, the web was just drawn digitally with a tablet. I put a little drop shadow on it using layer effects.
