53. Three pieces of blogworthy news...

Look what I got in the post the other day... A copy of the new Super Duper Triple Fantastic Deluxe version of the children's bible I illustrated some time ago... it comes in a smart slipcase has a redesigned cover (on nice matt card) and you even get Poirot reading the whole thing to you on CD.

I also finally got to meet up with the author Sally Lloyd-Jones and her niece Ellie, we had tea and cake and then posed for some photos a few feet from my house (I don't actually live in the church, just very close by). I am the tall one, Sally's the stripy one, Ellie's got the best smile and the small spotty one is my daughter Lily Peach.

As if that wasn't exciting enough the publishers have also launched a special website for the book here

56. The Studio - Part One

Slightly concerned to discover one wall of my future studio was only
held together with eight buckets of dust and two mumified
rats....shortly after this discovery it started to collapse, as if it
had been found out.

71. What I've done today....

Tried out Corel Painter SketchPad... then coloured in Photoshop. Drawn a butterfly for a new book (also Photoshop).

Sketchpad is very nice but only seems to work on your main monitor, which is a bit annoying when your 2nd one's a Cintiq....

75. A cold studio

Here I am, working in my studio in the attic, I though hot air was
supposed to rise, but it's not rising up here...

Now I have a super efficient iMac, I don't even have a PC to act as a
heater either....
