I got the word last week that my poem, "A Pile of Leaves," will be in the September issue of Turtle Magazine!

I've been slacking on jacketflap lately. Our daughter got married on May 29th, and we had a new grandson earlier this year. Happy, busy moments :)

Rena--we love the outdoors and nature. We have some great family camping memories :) I can see how you could fall in love with a place enough to re-locate there.

Hi Peggy! Thanks for accepting me. I've been on JacketFlap for 2 years, but sadly I haven't taken advantage of it much. I hope to be here more often.

I usually do a power-clean between novels and I kind of missed the ritual after my most recent one. :-) Still recovering from the last r... more

Hi, Peggy,
It was so nice to meet you, too! I see you have a new grandbaby. Congratulations! I have one, too—my first—born Nov. 22! He just spent a week at Riley Hospital with a respiratory infection. Whew! Lots of prayers! But he's fine now, thank God!

Just realized that Stephanie Buscema is doing your book, NAME THAT DOG. She's also doing a book for me, PUGS IN A BUG. I love her work!

Hi, Peggy! At your urging, I did what I should have done a long time ago and added a bio and picture. I think when I first signed up on JacketFlap, I hadn't done any of the networking sites (Facebook, Twitter) and wasn't too sure what I was doing! Anyway, thanks!!
