Hi Stephen,
Yes the link worked. I think I might have a similar reference in my file. It looked familiar. When I do school presentations I talk to the kids about the many different versions of this story. Now I'll be able to add The Marshmallow Man to the list.
Comment by Janet Squires on 8/26/2009 2:56:54 PM:
Hi Stephen,
The Marshmallow Man...fun! When I was working on my book, I learned that there have been over 1,000 editions of The Gingerbread Man since it was first published over 100 years ago. Imagination is a wonderful quality.
Comment by Diana Navarro on 6/27/2009 1:15:47 PM:

Thanks for thinking of me, Stephen. The surgery went well but I still feel very sick. I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia this time. I hope to feel better tomorrow, I'm wiped out!

Wishing you the best tomorrow. Get well soon my friend. I'm thinking of you.

Thanks for your kind words about my artwork. Guess what! I've signed with a publisher and my book is being released this month and she is using my own artwork. I thought surely I would need an illustrator.
Comment by Diana Navarro on 1/10/2009 12:25:21 PM:
Exactly. It just seems like more irresposible and unresearched law making by our politicans. "Throw the baby out with the bathwater", comes to mind. The ones who will truly suffer in the end are the creative minds of our children. ~ Go after the party responsible for the physical, hard copy, of our ... more

In answer to your blog (It wouldn't let me post). Yes, I got that bit of news also. Although I am for safety and protecting our children, it's sad news that they're going after the wrong people to be held accountable. As I understand it, requirements should be placed upon the printers and not the au... more

Comment by Jacqui Taylor on 1/2/2009 8:13:27 AM:
Hi Stephen, I usually write my words first and pictures follow. But often I am inspired to write by something visual. Much prefer illustrating my own work - very difficult to correctly interpret someone else's vision! Best Jacqui

Kool Stephen. Your artwork is soothing. I don't know if it's the medium or the colors or maybe just your spirit coming through.
Congradulations on your successes. I wonder who will illustrate my books.
Blessings, Princess Ayo

HI Stephen, I like your work. I'm especially partial to the one with the kid reading in front of the tree. Very nice. I do however prefer my spelling of our first names, if for no other reason than the way you spell it would take longer for me to type.
Comment by Karen Maurer on 2/21/2008 9:40:12 AM:
