I was born in Los Angeles, California and received my formal training from the Art Center College of Design where I graduated with a BFA.
Growing up I was influenced by the comic books of that period as well as the Disney animated films. I was also influenced by many of the turn of the century classic illustrators and many fine artists and their expertise in the traditional skills of drawing, color, and composition. I continue to grow as an artist and find inspiration from a variety of other artistic styles from contemporary film and animation to Japanese printmakers and comic artists.
I collect a wide variety of art and illustrated books.
I love my work and am fortunate to have been able to continue in this field for more than 30 years.
