A very cool thing happened with me on my digital journey... As you can kind be more gung-ho in your approach digitally, (thanks to the editing facilities with mistakes) I found that I made so much more progress, in such a short space of time with my traditional art, and I mean years instead of months.
Another thing I found was that it's beneficial to try and mimic your usual working style.

firstly, there's a magazine specifically dedicated to Painter called 'The Official Corel painter Magazine'. I did a few tutorials for them last year, it's a very well put together mag and caters for all levels. It can be found here:

Then there's Deviantart. It's a great site for all things arty. there are a LOT of tutorials on there (for free) and there's a whole heap of inspirational stuff there too:
