About Melinda

Hi, I'm Melinda Wright and I'm working on three projects. My children's books are titled, "Little Bit the Pink Crocodile". In my first book Little Bit discovers that God makes us different for a reason. Children find out through Little Bit that they have the answers to life's problems within. And in the book, God comes to Little Bit in a dream and gives her a vision to share with the world. An... More

Hi Melinda it has been quite a while since our last "conversation" I've had a couple of medical annoyances but one kind of expects them by the 79th year so I just try to keep on keeping on. It is very nice hearing from you and I hope things are going well for you.

That's a really thoughtful comment about writing humor. I'm going to keep it and meditate on it much.
Yes, I do see funny things in life, things that aren't even there (just in my head.) And I see a lot of dark/black humor in the worst of conditions.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. My entire "downline" family was here and we had dinner in the middle "back 40" at my only Daughter and her wonderful Husband's home. We both live on the family farm that has been "ours" now into the 3rd generation. My Grandson's who now live out of town plan on comi... more

It's been hectic here. I've been in the process of selling a house and moving to two different other houses in two towns hours apart. Very, very long story. But this move has taken me from March to November. It's finally finalized. Yay... more

Hey Melinda,
I was thrilled to hear from you. Life has been crazy in our neck of the woods. My honey had a kidney transplant. Our son gave him a kidney for Father's Day. He is recuperating nicely.
I was wondering the other day about you. How is your writing coming?

I hate that Melinda. It has been several years since I contracted with CSS and at that time the man that signed me was Pete Diller. He may not be with them any longer, but at that time they did have a need for Christian children's poetry. I will keep my eyes open and try to think of someone else ... more

Melinda! Hello!

Fun drawing! The first thing I ever tried to draw was a pale pink dragon in preschool, so I've been fond of pink reptiles ever since.
