About Pam
By day, I am a mother of two children. By night, I am a budding entreprenuer and a non-published writer of children's stories. My inspiration comes from my son who, at birth, needed to have surgery due to a congenital heart defect. At 18 months, he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). With a BA in business, 7 years of motherhood, a student of special education teachers, occupational and physical therapists, and oral motor/speech pathologists, I am armed with more knowledge, experience, and creativity to write great storylines, develop fun characters, incorporate lessons to learn, and approach each book with purpose. The entrepreneur in me forges forward still offering the Press Dough line of mutiple cookie cutters; with one press of cookie dough, multiple cuts are made. Children light up while reading, drawing, baking, cooking, writing, or playing. For this reason, Storybook Sprinkles (through Press Dough) is evolving. I am currently developing this section to include e-storybooks. As a download, the storybook is printed out and cleverly created so that the children become the vision of the book. The name of the illustrator is left blank for the child's name to be entered in. Targeted for children ages 4-7, parents, early child educators, home schoolers and caregivers watch as their child use his/her creative and cognitive thinking skills. Children beam with pride after their illustrated book is completed. Check it out: http://www.pressdough.com/store/product.php?productid=126&cat=4&page=1
