About Carole

I have started a book for young adults. (During the past year, I finished a triolgy of books -- not for the faint of heart or children.) The title of the young adult book is "A Glimpse of Freedom" and the story is told from the point of view of a donkey working the Savannah dock. His name is Rosy and he will trek across the American frontier in 1818. The story is based on the letters of Rev. Chep... More

Yes, it is possible to hike 6 miles down into the Grand Canyon then climb 9 miles out again. No blisters! I saw the condors -- a humbling experience. Had hoped to get into the Nevada desert but it was raining cats and dogs.

I am in the rough draft stage of book two, titled Mandie Faradin. I'm off to the Grand Canyon to research a spectacular setting for the main event in Hope's Herald, which is book three.

Thanks for your welcome. I retired from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality in 2005. I was a Water Quality Specialist. My M.S. is in Geochemistry and Hydrogeology.

Is there a way to submit a first chapter for people to look at and comment on?
