Kavitha Punniyamurthi is a writer, illustrator and editor of children’s literature.

She is the author and illustrator of 'Lucy’s Purple Pullover', a picture book published by Guardian Angel Publishing (St.Louis, U.S.A), picture e-Books, 'Kattumaram’s Midnight Adventure' and 'Cat and Mouse in Partnership' published by Shared Books Ltd. (British Columbia, Canada) and an audio picture e-Book, ‘The Tiger, the Brahmin and the Fox’ published by My Story Town LLC (Florida, U.S.A).

Her work has also appeared in several international magazines and Indian magazines for children.

She has several years' experience in critiquing and editing manuscripts.

Kavitha specializes in writing for children of ages 4-12. Her current projects include picture books (fiction and non-fiction), comic book scripts, short stories and middle-grade novels.
