I'm just a mere human girl trying to find her place in the universe. I've lived in Tacoma pretty much my whole life, and despite the rain and gray (I crave sunshine, I am solar powered), I still do, with my crazy beautiful girls.

I am usually doing one of a million things on any given day while wearing black, obsessing over monkeys, and writing my next novel. My writing style is something I like to call organized chaos. I think no one but me could make heads or tails of it. (and sometimes even I can't)

I'm a proud member of the Class of 2k12, member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, an avid blogger, a Vine Reviewer for Amazon.com, and a notorious Facebook addict. My novel, Never Eighteen, will debut January, 2012 from Graphia, a Houghton Mifflin Harcourt imprint.
