I am an award-winning, self-taught artist who's been drawing and writing since childhood. I'm a former teacher and school administrator, and the author (and in many cases the illustrator) of 11 published children's books: BABY SOCKS, LITTLE TREE, NO SHEEP, KISS KISS, THE CHRISTMAS LAMB, SPACE CAMP: THE GREAT ADVENTURE FOR NASA HOPEFULS, ROCKETS, and ASTRONAUTS, all published by William Morrow & Co. Also RIDE AWAY, BELLY BUTTONS, and THE GUPPIES OF HILLYDALE HOUSE, published by Simon & Schuster.

At present, I'm the Designer/Owner of two online greeting card companies, celebrating women and the ones they love. Goddess Cards, (www.goddesscards.com) is my paper greeting card line. Egoddesscards.com (www.egoddesscards.com) is the virtual e-card spinoff of that company, offering a growing line of e-cards, with music, for the Goddess on the Go.

Now, while still continuing to create more egoddesscards for women, I have returned to my first love: children’s books. My partnership with musicians Allison McCready and Cary Beare, of Los Angeles, has rekindled my delight in creating imaginative, meaningful books for the very young. The mission of our joint venture, Little Big Books, (www.littlebigbooks.net) is to bring stories, art, and music together in a joyful package that will entertain and engage the youngest readers ~ while reflecting their unique life experiences!

FYI, a list of 9 of my previously published books, is shown below. Unfortunately, I was unable to make all 11 go up, and was unable to always show where I was both author and illustrator. Perhaps I can straighten that out as I learn the JacketFlap protocol!
