After working in libraries for over 25 years, I "took my pension" to become a freelance consultant and trainer. I am also teaching children's literature and programs for youth in libraries classes for Texas Woman's University. I'm the book review editor for ParentWise: Austin. As the book review editor for ParentWise Austin I'm often asked how someone can submit a book for review. Unfortunately I can only review four books each month. I primarily review books with broad interest as I can only do 4 a month. The main focus is preschool through high school but 75-80% are for preschool through middle school readers. The books should be available widely through local bookstores and online retailers. I actively seek out local (Austin a... more
