As the book review editor for ParentWise Austin I'm often asked how someone can submit a book for review. Unfortunately I can only review four books each month. I try to feature local authors (Central Texas but I'll consider other areas of Texas) first. Then I look for mainstream books (wide audience appeal) that may not get broad attention (so I won't review JK Rowlings) or niche books that have some specific appeal to Austin-ites (ecology, music, government). If your book sounds like something I would review, please contact me first. I don't want you to waste a book if I'm not going to be able to look at it. Also, while I will consider books that have been out for a little while, it's not likely that I'll review anything that has been out for a year or longer.
