Thank you for the kudos on my books, and that would be great if you bought one… if you have any kiddos around, they would like Crying Bear, Yes, Bears Cry Sometimes, Too. I love bears, too. I had a face to face with a bear in Arcadia, Virginia, while camping once. I was picking raspberries, and the bear was fishing. When I heard noise, I thought it was my husband coming up from the creek from fishing, but… you guessed it, it was the bear. I screamed, he went running up a really steep hill one way, and I went running the other way to the car! I know, I know… I shouldn’t have run. But, it made for a good story around the camp fire that night!

I'm so, happy to hear that you would like to keep honeybees one day in the near future. Yes, Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) is definitely concern for us all, WORLDWIDE. The honeybee is our greatest pollinator; and EVERYONE CAN HELP do their part to save the bees-- if not by keeping honeybees, then by not spraying chemicals on plants, which the honeybee will carry back to the hive. Another way everyone can help is by planting flowers, bushes, and trees that honeybees prefer. The next time you mow your yard, remember to save plenty of fodder for the honeybees to forage in; what we think of as weeds, they see as a delicacy.

My book Buzzzzzzzz: What Honeybees do is a great basic book on honeybees, it’s written for children. But I trust, if you bought it, you would learn something about honeybees that you might not have known before.

I've been to Wyoming. Beautiful, no-gorgious state. I live in Florida because I have Renault's Disease. Doctor said I'd be best off in Florida or Arizona. Dear husband wanted to live in Florida. So here we are. Would rather be up north. I suffer here, just not as much or as long. This winter was horrible for me and I just could not get warm. I can't stay inside too long when air is on as this aggravates my condition. I keep our home at 80 and our business at 76-79. If I was healthy, I'd be in Alaska or Maine.
