About Jeanne
I've been writing for kids on a variety of science topics since the mid 1990's, mainly for magazines. My first book, Food Science, is about the science behind food, from the farm to the table. I live in Berkeley, CA. My current writing projects relate to astrophysics: how a hypothesis gains favor, how scientific rivalry spurs innovation, and how an unexpected result opens up new vistas.
