Robin Epstein has written for publications including The New York Times, Marie Claire, Real Simple and Teen People magazines. A contributor to NPR’s This American Life, Robin started her career as a stand-up comic, and eventually moved into sitcom writing, working with Al Franken, Joan Cusack and Dan Aykroyd. She served as the head writer (and on-air sidekick) for “Clued In,” a game show for teenage girls, on the Oxygen network. Robin has published eleven children’s books with Scholastic, including the GROOVY GIRLS series, and her WORST CASE SCENARIO: JUNIOR EDITION, was published by Chronicle Books in August, 2007. She co-wrote the novel, SHAKING HER ASSETS, published by Berkley Books in 2005, and her forthcoming young adult novel, GOD IS IN THE PANCAKES, will be published by Harcourt in Spring, 2009. Robin graduated from Princeton University and earned her MFA from Columbia University.
