Dee Dee Sutherland is a wife and mother. She graduated from St. Norberts College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree and continued on doing Graduate work at Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Graphic Design and Advertising. She worked many years as a Graphic Designer and Account executive. Dee Dee also worked as a Facilitator with The Rainbow Group helping children whose parents were divorced or died, learn to cope with these issues. She worked in both the Chicago and New York Areas. As a child she experienced being bullied herself. Her own son was bullied in Elementary school. As a result of this she has made it her mission to help children. Together with her friend Pat Trutner they decided to write this book to try to help stop bullying and to help children build confidence so they can learn to deal with bullies. Using their book ”There’s Always A Bully” as a base Dee Dee does interactive Anti- Bully Presentations in the School Systems. She has done Training Sessions for Instructors at College Camps, School Presentations for Children as well as Parent and Community workshops.
