I was born February 24, 1949 in Oerlinghausen, Westfalen, in Germany. After highschool I learned lithography, and then studied Graphic Arts at the institute of applied art in Bielefeld. In no time the direction my life would take was decided to a career of free-lance illustrator.

That bed floating at the top of the stiars took my breath away!
The owl half submerged and the giant in the treetop are so eye-catching - I'd love to add the books they were for to my bookshelf!
