Diane Ambur lives fullt time in Hilton Head, SC. She now shares her yard with flocks of majestic herons and egrets diving for snacks out of the nearby lagoon, bellowing alligators and very loud peeping tree frogs who tend to get caught in the sliding screen doors. When she’s not home, enjoying the show of wildlife, she and her husband Owen love to travel the world and immerse themselves in other cultures. . Diane’s work has appeared in Lollipops Magazine, ArtsEdge (a Kennedy Center website for educators), VSAarts activity books, Dragonfly Spirit, Kidvision, Poem Friday, International Family Magazine, Nature Friend and Stories for Children Magazine. She currently has started a First Book program on Hilton Head Island for for pre-school students in title one schools. Volunteers read books to students while following a lesson plan based on state standards. After the reading, each student receives the book to take home and add or begin a home library..
