Signed by BOTH Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings and N. C. Wyeth on the Special Edition page, which faces the Half Title page. This page reads, "Of this edition, seven hundred and seventy copies have been printed of which seven hundred and fifty are for sale." The Scribner's first edition "A" is present on the copyright page. Two additional Wyeth full-color plates, "Fodder-Wing" and "Pa and Ma Forrester", are present in addition to the fourteen full-color plates of the regular edition. It also includes a facsimile of a two-page letter from N. C. Wyeth, following the List of Illustrations. Slipcased.
