My full name is Vanessa Perryman.

I was born on February 20, 1976 in Utah, grew up in Ohio, and moved to Arizona with my family my senior year of high school (Eww, I know! Such a bummer!).

I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 1996 with an Associates Degree.

I am so lucky to of been able to get married in 2000 to an amazing man, Michael, who has supported this adventure from day one.

I now live in Gilbert, Arizona with my husband and my dog Hobie.

I used to have another dog whose name was Dexter, but he passed away in 2008. I don’t have any children, so Dexter and Hobie are my babies.
When Dexter passed away, I couldn’t stop remembering the fun that we had together and the addicting whimsical personality he had. I knew that I had to capture as much of him as I could remember in writing! I don’t know, maybe a subconscious form of therapy for me, or maybe just a way for everyone to get to know such a precious fun puppy? Either way, I feel great and couldn’t have made a better more loving tribute to him in my eyes.

I have not had any works published before, nor do I have a literary agent. I would love opportunity to meet with one to express my love for my book and my vision as a writer!

I have completed many hours of multiple critique groups to amazing feedback, which pushed me in the direction to have this book/series looked at by a publishing firm.

I picture this book with very whimsical illustrations.
