I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I work as a printmaker, painter and art teacher. I began my studies in printing and painting at the School of Visual Arts, the centre of many important Brazilian artists, in Rio de Janeiro in 1980. I received my bachelor degree in Art Education at the Bennett University, Brazil, in 1988. My teaching experience includes universities, public schools and private workshops. I have been an exhibiting artist and printmaker for over 20 years.I am also an illustrator of children`s book. I have had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil, Spain, France, USA and Cuba.
