About Christine
I am a playwright and monologuist living on Cape Cod. My plays "Reconstruction, or How I Learned to Pay Attention" and "Giant Women" were both named Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Grant finalists ('04 and '06). Writing/performing doesn't pay the mortgage, so I have been in the book industry these past 20 years, mostly managing bookstores, though am now a product manager for a large remainder company specializing in kids' books.
I hope to publish my own work, and am currently looking for an illustrator for a poem I wrote to my daughter -- she is 12 and splendid.
My favorite children's book is The Three Questions, by Jon Muth.
